Before I go ahead with the review of the Horror story collection “The other side” I would like to thank Faraaz Kazi for giving me the chance to review this Book.

It will be difficult to find a single person who have not yet meet the world of Horrors. Some met this world though some awesome horror movie, some might have experienced it personally, some read horror stories  and some on a definite note  watched at least once the horror series which comes live via our television serials. All in all almost all of us experienced this world some way or the other.

Since childhood I too preferred reading horror stories and love to experience those uncanny feelings of this world. My memories brushed up when I touched the book “The Other Side” by Faaraz Kazi and Vivek Banerjee. The first look of the book will make you feel every bit of Horror. Just look at the red eyes, it’s talking to you and as if saying” Welcome to my world of Horror”. What a cover page Man, just amazing. Kudos to DigiImprint.

Penning down the review of this anthology of horror stories is not at all an easy task for me and the prime reason behind this that there are N numbers of unique things in this book which need to be discussed while reviewing it. For the readers of this review I am trying to keep it short so that the secret of these horror stories are not disclosed completely as this will mess up the interest of the readers who are planning to grab a copy of it.

About the prelude:  For the first time in my life I read such a wonderful prelude. The prelude of this book will create the environment which you will be looking for while reading a horror story. In the prelude authors marked the beginning of storytelling with an engaging conversation with each other.

The 13 stories of this novel are as follows:

In this collection we get to read some stories in which we meet some good spirits with some good intentions or other way round we can say having no intension to harm anyone. The story “That Fateful Night” is one among them.  The top stories with evil aspect of spirit include “The Man who did not Fear”, and “Strangers in the Night”. Each of the stories is offering some freshness in the category of horror genre which depicts awesome quality of imaginative power of both Faaraz and Vivek. Narration of each and every story of this book is excellent and will give you the true feel of horror.
